Robert Dagil
Assistant Professor
In the VAR2CSA team I am involved in protein production, protein conjugation experiments and development within upstream/downstream processes to optimize production of recombinant malaria protein for use in in vitro and in vivo experiments.
During my education I have worked with proteins, focused on studying their structural and functional relationship and characterising the atomic details of their ligand interaction. The main tool for this has been NMR spectroscopy; however, I have also worked with crystallography, molecular modeling, binding kinetics measured by Attana and isothermal titration calorimetry.
