Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prize
Mustafa Ghanizada, researcher at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology (ISIM), has been awarded one of this year’s five Lundbeck Foundation Talent Prizes.
The Lundbeck Foundation honors promising young investigators with five Talent Prizes, recognising researchers who - despite being at an early stage of their careers - have already made significant scientific contributions. They also aim to support the recipients in pursuing new ideas and advancing research that can improve our understanding of health and disease.
Using organoids, miniature models of human organs, Mustafa Ghanizada is uncovering the mechanisms of the immune system to identify new opportunities for developing vaccines and treatments.
