Grant awarded for translational vaccine research

Professor Lea Klingenberg Barfod from the Department of Immunology and Microbiology (ISIM), University of Copenhagen, has been awarded a 1.5 million DKK grant from Greater Copenhagen Health Science Partners (GCHSP) to co-lead a new Clinical Academic Group (CAG) focusing on translational vaccine research in high-risk adults.

Greater Copenhagen Health Science Partners (GCHSP) has appointed six new Clinical Academic Groups (CAG). The CAG on Translational Vaccine Research in High-Risk Adults is chaired by Professor Zitta F. B. Barrella Harboe from Nordsjællands Hospital, with Professor Lea Klingenberg Barfod from ISIM, as vice chair. 

The CAG Translational Vaccine Research in High-Risk Adults have been awarded a 1.5 million DKK grant from GCHSP, which will support collaborative research efforts between hospitals and universities, aiming to accelerate the development of vaccine strategies for high-risk adults.
