New funding for development of malaria vaccine

The Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund has decided to sponsor a malaria vaccine development project led by the European Vaccine Initiative, the Research Institute for Microbial Diseases (RIMD) at Osaka University, the University of Copenhagen, the University of Tübingen, Danish biotechnology company AdaptVac, Ajinomoto Co., Inc., and Nobelpharma Co., Ltd.

Professor Morten Agertoug Nielsen from the Centre for translational Medicine and Parasitology (CMP) from the Department of Immunology and Microbiology (ISIM) is the representative in this collaboration.
