My current focus is how bacterial toxins from S. aureus influence the microenvironment in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and other inflammatory skin diseases. By dissecting the crosstalk between malignant and nonmalignant cells we want to understand how bacterial toxins can promote disease progression and immune dysregulation in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. I have a great interest in applying high throughput methods to adress key questions in immune (dys)regulation.
