About the Graduate Programme in Immunology and Infectious Diseases
The University of Copenhagen's Research Programme in Immunology and Infectious Diseases was established in 2006 to promote research at the PhD level within the fields of immunology and infectious diseases.
The aim of the school is to effectively train the next generation in immunology and infectious diseases, to upgrade research education and supervision, and to raise standards by the following means:
- Developing and coordinating a programme of both basic and advanced as well as specialized PhD courses
- Promoting contacts between the universities, other research institutes and the pharmaceutical industry
- Strengthening ties between members
- Setting up journal clubs
- Global networking
- Building links with international centers
- Hosting conferences and seminars
- Organizing workshops and summer schools
