Aim and content

The understanding of many diseases has changed fundamentally during the last two decades. Thus dysfunction/dysregulation of the immune system can be shown to be part of the disease process in many instances. The intention of the course is to bring the participants knowledge of current leading research within the immune system covering the principals of innate and adaptive immunity as well the pathogenesis in immune related diseases.


PhD students and others interested within clinical and basic research on the immune system and inflammation.




4 individual days in each term from 9.00 – 12.00 and 13.15 – 17.00 as presentation and discussion.
